What We Do
Product Development
Our Development Process

At TRUE BLUE, we collect marine plastic ourselves.
We carefully wash it clean, then sort it into a wide range of colors.
By selecting subtle variations in color, we create a rich palette that opens up many possibilities for design.

We shred the sorted plastic into chips.
One feature of TRUE BLUE’s process is taking these chips a step further: using a blender to turn them into finer particles for more delicate designs.
We then use a range of equipment to heat and mold the chips and powder into products.
Our Design Philosophy

Every day, we explore the beauty that is unique to marine plastic.
We pay particular attention to the colors and textures of the materials at the heart of every product, testing and refining them again and again.

This work has led to refined, high-quality materials such as the TRUE BLUE series, which gives new life to blue waste—the most common color among marine plastic—and the RIPPLE series, inspired by white foam spreading along the shore.
